Special issue proposals

The journal occasionally publishes guest-edited special issues, which may include up to seven contributions (including an introduction). Prospective guest editors are asked to furnish an abstract of every contribution including the introduction, which should lay out the overall aims of the special issue. Once the board’s approval has been secured, the guest editors will be asked to ensure that the articles be submitted by January 31, of the year of publication, and to submit a list of possible peer-reviewers for each article. The articles will then be subjected to double-blind peer-review, which will take approximately 4 months. The guest editors are responsible for the communication to the authors of the results of the review process and make sure that the revisions are implemented. Please note that articles may be rejected. The guest editors must hand in the revised texts with the introduction before September 15 of the publication year. The editorial board further reserves the right to terminate cooperation with the editors if these deadlines are not met.
